Updating a successful show is important to keep it looking fresh. MTV called upon Rust Company’s editors, graphic artists and sound designers to create new packaging for their popular series Made.

When WEA released a new DVD Technology called MVI they hired Rust for the look and feel of the launch presentation. Rust created several video demos to both explain and promote the new disk technology with web integration. Look for MVI disks in stores near you.

MTV “ROB AND BIG” VIRGIN MOBILE

This spot cross-marketed Virgin Mobile’s SLICE phone and the premier season of MTV’s ‘Rob and Big’.

MTV “RUSH HOUR 3″

Using hilarious footage from interviews with Jackie Chan and Chris Rock was an enjoyable job that Rust undertook while creating this promo for the MTV Sneak Peak of Rush Hour 3. Recreating the Eiffel Tower and incorporating it into the spot was an exciting challenge.

SPIKETV “SEAGAL VS VAN DAMME”

When the time came to showcase the ultimate showdown between two of the world’s greatest tough guys, SpikeTV knew to hire Rust. Understanding how serious this was, Rust created bobble head characters of each of the titans and put them in a 3-d boxing ring to battle to the death. Using After Effects, Photoshop and Final Cut; Rust was able to bring the anticipation to life.

GREAT SAFETY ADVENTURE

11th Hour Productions asked RUST for help in bringing to life a dog and his flashlight for a educational children’s program. The program tours elementary schools teaching children about fire safety. RUST animated the characters and recorded the voices for this piece.

TENACIOUS D “PICK OF DESTINY” SNEAK PEEK

In this episode of MTV’s popular preview show, RUST focused on ‘The Pick of Destiny’ movie poster for inspiration. From that and source clips from the film, RUST was able to make packaging and promo material that was both funny and able to keep the viewer’s direction on the show.

SAW III “SNEEK PEEK”

MTV’s Sneak Peek gives its viewers a chance to preview the hottest upcoming films before they reach the theaters. Each of the Sneak Peek episodes packaging is unique for it reflects the look and feel of the film it represents. Saw III is no different, as we journey into the darker side of a mad man’s workshop. Rust Company created the show’s customized Open, Bumpers and promos Spots.
